On our travels through Alberta we decided to take a detour off the highway and finally check out a town we had always heard of but never seen for ourselves. For those that don't know, there is a tittle town in Alberta, between Lethbridge and Calgary called Vulcan that has one of the strangest tourist attractions around.

Now for some of you the name of the town is probably familiar, however for those of you who had social lives or girlfriends growing up you might not know that Vulcan is the name of a species of characters in the Star Trek franchise (think Spock).
