Dirty & Dangerous Tour w/ Black Hat Villain

The next show of the tour was 761km away from where we woke up. We got up early that morning and drove all the way from Grande Prairie to The Rusty Cage in Calgary. It was a nine and a half hour drive south, through beautiful Alberta.

We arrived at the Rusty Cage and met up with the Black Hat Villain boys and a third band for the night Mass Undergoe .
We all loaded in, setup and had a beer or two. The stage, the sound and the sound guy were amazing here tonight! If you live in Calgary and haven’t come out to see a show at the Rusty Cage, do it. We look forward to coming back and rocking this stage again very soon!

After our set we were approached by the three guys behind unratedmusic.com. They were impressed by our music and stoked about our set. They asked if we would do an interview with them. We went out to the bus and sat down with these boys and had a blast. We want to thank them for the best interview we have had to date and will be working with them again real soon! Our next stop took us into Alberta, to the beautiful city of Grande Prairie . Again we met up with the Black Hat Villain crew out back of the venue, Better Than Fred’s. After load in and a quick soundcheck we got to enjoy a nice meal of Wing Wednesday wings with a side of Ultimate Fighter.
We met up with some old friend, Chris and Laura, caught up on old times and shared some good laughs. Besides being an all around stand up guy Chris is also a professional photographer. He used his talented eye and nimble finger to capture these great photos of the show.

Next show on the tour brought us north to Prince George. We met up with the Black Hat Villain boys outside the venue – The Generator. Both bands loaded in all our gear and got everything setup for the sound check. The sound guy, Ron, was amazing, we can’t say enough good things about him, thank you again Ron! We look forward to coming back and working with you soon.

After sound check we had some running around to do in Prince George. So we packed both bands in the RV and headed out. First stop was to the 94X FM radio station where we had an interview with Matt Porteous, to promote the show and talk about the bands.

Then it was off to the UNBC campus (University of Nothern Britsh Columbia) to promote the show and meet some locals. While walking around the campus and talking to the kids, we stumbled upon the campus radio station headquarters – CFUR 88.7fm. Just out of curiosity we went in and asked the guy working if they could promote the show on air. Our new friend and DJ, Andrew, told us he could do one better. He stood up from his desk and took us into the control room and within 30 seconds gave us an on air interview and played some of our tracks. Thanks go out to Andrew and to CFUR!

We met up with Matt Porteous for dinner and some drinks then it was off to the Generator for the show.
The show went great. Good turn out, lots of dancing, great sound and an amazing good time. We had a blast and are eager to come back to Prince George and rock out again in the near future.

First show out on the road in Kamloops, at The Dirty Jersey. We met up with the boys from Black Hat Villain outside the venue and loaded onto the stage. We started the show off tonight and set the stage for BHV to continue rocking the room!

Half way through our set we got a surprise cameo from a drunk local who came up to accompany Dan with some backup vocals and a lead vocal solo. We named him Rick and enjoyed his drunken jibberish!

Black Hat Villain finished off the show with their epic rock!
